"It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical!"
~ Glinda, Wicked The Musical

About Me
Hi, I am Tricia. I am a Motion Graphics Designer with an Applied Science Degree is Digital Design, a certificate in Social Media Marketing, and a certificate in UX/UI Design. I am a mom and a theater nerd, I love crying over good rom-coms, and you can usually catch me listening to a fantasy audiobook.

Before I decided to go on this adventure of becoming a digital designer, I was on my way to a lifelong dedication to the full-service food industry. I started at Burger King and moved on to other various jobs in food service. When out of high school I had just quit working at Starbucks and decided I needed to try something a little more resume-worthy. I had just started living on my own, I needed to start being serious about getting the money. I went in and interviewed at a local diner. I was shy but my manager at the time was willing and ready to give me a shot. I worked as a hostess and over the years rose through the ranks to assistant manager. Then one day after all the hard work, and 60 hour work weeks, I was promoted to General Manager. I had many accomplishments over the 6 years I would work as a General Manager. I would go on to be a training manager, reopen more than 6 remodeled stores, and have the lowest turn over rate in the company because of my consistent and steed fast management skills. However, that all changed after I had my daughter.

My priorities changed after I had her. I was ready to be a mom and with more than thirteen years at my restaurant and all that I had accomplished, I decided that I would step down to become a server and spend more time watching her and experience all her firsts. Now that she is older and starting school and after thinking long and hard about it, I decided I was going back to school to change careers. I could of done business or something else... But I had a choice when I went back, I could learn to do something that I might not have been familiar with, that would take a lot of schooling and might not be the funnest thing, possibly with more long hours, or I could allow myself to tap into my creative side and take a chance on my love of all things artsy fartsy. I decided to go with the latter. I would go to my first love of creating and I couldn't be more happy with my choice.

Having just graduated I am passionate about expanding my experiences. I have a passion for motion graphics and short video reels for either promotion on websites or social media. I have skills in building websites and have loved every second of it. Lets have a chat and I would love to help get your dreams realized.
